Rangers' Europa League Squad Confirmed Amid Transfer Speculation

Rangers have confirmed their Europa League squad, with Nico Raskin included in the 25-man pool for the third qualifying round tie with Jagiellona Bialystok. The Belgian's inclusion has sparked transfer theory, with fans speculating that he may not be on the way out of Ibrox.

Raskin has been named as part of Derek McInnes' group for the upcoming Euro tie, despite not being in the squad for Friday night's 1-1 draw away to Dundee United that started the 2026/27 Premiership season. He's yet to return to training after his stint in the States for the Red Devils, but has been widely tipped to depart Ibrox this summer in a big money move.

Villarrreal have been linked with a £17million swoop while AS Roma are also thought to be keen on taking Raskin to Serie A. But a move doesn't seem to be imminent after he was made part of McInnes' group for the upcoming Euro tie.

One notable absentee is John Souttar, despite Gers' shortage of centre backs. Ben Godfrey is facing a month on sidelines with a hamstring injury, but there's still no place in the squad for Souttar. He is almost certain to leave with Swansea City, Sheffield United and Russell Martin's Leicester City all interested.
